ABOUT MJRODRIGUEZ THE AUTHOR

mjrodriguez hails from Asia and immigrated to South Africa when she was just a “Cyndi Lauper teenybopper”. She studied and worked as a number-crunching accountant for many years in Johannesburg, before eventually settling in her new country, Canada. She is now based in Ontario.

mjrodriguez started supporting CIMA students on how to prepare for their case study exams back in 2014. Prior to that, she had been a CIMA student herself. She is currently a freelance tutor and content creator for various tuition providers. She is sometimes referred to as the quirky one, and is truly passionate about helping students attain their professional designation, thereby doing her small part in the eventual world domination of accountants.

mjrodriguez holds a Masters Degree in Strategic Business Management from the Manchester Metropolitan University. She is a member of both the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants in the United Kingdom and the Chartered Professional Accountants in Ontario, Canada. She proudly wears the following letters after her name: ACMA, CGMA, CPA CMA.

She is the wife of one Mr Rodriguez and also a mother to 2 amazing daughters. When she is not multi-tasking and juggling her many roles, she dabbles in a bit of blogging and podcasting.
