CIMA’s latest pass rates are currently available on its website.
Pass rates for all case study levels has reached a new milestone, not one dips below 50%. Wow!
Operational level jumped stays the same from February to May 2022 at 62%. Prior to February 2022, the last time the operational level was in the 60% range was in November 2018.
Management level picks up speed from 73% in February to 82% in May 2022. Certainly a great milestone.
Strategic level goes down from 72% in February to 62% in May 2022. Not a totally bad results even though it did dip from the 70%-range high.
Gateway level maintains its low percentages, but continues to show vast improvement, now breaching the 50% mark with a 52% in May 2022. Another all-time high for Gateway marks. Gateway has always had low percentages, assumed to be due to the fact that Gateway students find it harder to transition into case study preparation.
The OT exam pass rates covering the 2019 Professional Qualifications stayed the same. No new additional information or period in this category. The period covered was 1 November 2020 to 30 November 2021.
Despite the good performance shown in the pass rates, students must not become complacent about studying. Good results do not mean that the exams are any easier. I’d like to think that it’s more about students focusing and dedicating more towards their studies, thereby earning good marks for their exams.
